AI video generation & studio workflow guides.

9 min read

Seedance 2.0 has no downloadable weights, so it can't run locally. How to use it hosted without prompt keyword blocks, what it costs, and open alternatives.

18+ only. This guide is for adults. Use the tools described here only with fictional, AI-generated adult characters or with material you own and are fully authorized to use; never upload photos of real people for adult content.

Uncensored Seedance 2.0 is a popular search, and it usually hides two questions: can I run ByteDance's Seedance 2.0 on my own computer, and can I use it without the prompt filters that block mature creative work? The first answer is no. ByteDance has not released Seedance 2.0's weights, so there is nothing to download, whatever an installer page might promise. The second answer is yes, through a hosted service that passes prompts to the model without a keyword blocklist, such as ZenCreator. This guide explains both, shows how to use Seedance 2.0 effectively, lists the open models you genuinely can run at home, and sets out the legal limits that apply whichever route you choose.

Short version:

  • You specifically need Seedance 2.0: a hosted service is the only way in. On ZenCreator's uncensored Seedance 2.0 you get text-to-video, image-to-video, native audio and multi-reference prompts with no keyword blocklist on creative prompts.
  • You want to generate on your own GPU: run an open-weight model such as Wan 2.2, Wan 2.1 or HunyuanVideo 1.5 instead.
  • You see a "Seedance 2.0 local download": treat it as fake.

What Seedance 2.0 is

Seedance 2.0 is ByteDance's video generation model, announced on February 12, 2026. ByteDance describes it as built on a unified multimodal audio-video joint generation architecture that supports four input types (text, image, audio and video) and offers multimodal reference and editing capabilities (ByteDance Seed, Seedance 2.0 launch). In practical terms, that means it can generate picture and sound together and take several kinds of references in one request.

Why Seedance 2.0 cannot be downloaded

The launch announcement points people to ByteDance's apps and API, not to a model download. There is no official repository, no weight file and no model licence for running it yourself, and a licence for local use cannot exist without a model file to license.

That has two practical consequences:

  1. Ignore "weights," "offline installers" and "cracked builds." At best they are wrappers around a hosted service; at worst they are malware. Downloading executables from such pages is a security risk to your machine and accounts.
  2. Read node packs carefully. A ComfyUI node that needs an API key and returns a finished video is a cloud client, not a local model. The clip is generated on someone else's server, you pay per clip, and that service's content rules apply. The tell in any tutorial is the phrase "no GPU needed."

How to use uncensored Seedance 2.0 on ZenCreator

ZenCreator runs Seedance 2.0 inside its video generator without a prompt keyword blocklist for creative work. According to the product page, the integration currently offers:

FeatureWhat you get on ZenCreator
ModesText-to-video and image-to-video
Resolution480p and 720p
Clip length5 to 15 seconds per generation
AudioNative audio, generated in the same pass as the picture
ReferencesUp to 9 images, 3 videos and 3 audio clips, cited in the prompt as [Image N], [Video N] and [Audio N]
Frame controlOptional start and end frames
CameraFixed-camera mode for tripod-style shots

"No keyword blocklist" does not mean no rules. The same page states that users must be adults and that content must not depict minors or real people without consent.

Step 1: Prepare your inputs

Start with an AI-generated still of an adult fictional character if you plan to use image-to-video. Keep the lighting simple and the face clearly visible. If you want a specific location, prepare a second image of the setting. Optional audio references can set the mood or a voice style for your character.

Step 2: Choose the mode

  • Image-to-video when your still must open the clip.
  • Text-to-video when you are exploring ideas.
  • Start and end frames when you want a controlled move between two exact compositions, which is also the most reliable way to storyboard longer sequences.

Step 3: Write the prompt with reference tags

Name the subject, the motion, the camera and the sound, and point each element at the right reference. For example:

[Image 1] is the adult character; keep her face and outfit. [Image 2] is the rooftop bar at night. She walks to the railing, turns and smiles toward the camera. Fixed camera, medium shot. Soft city ambience and distant music.

Keep to one or two actions per clip. Seedance 2.0 handles sound and references well, but cramming several events into five seconds still leads to rushed, jumpy motion.

Step 4: Pick resolution and length, then draft

Draft at 480p and five seconds, check the motion, then render the version you want to keep at 720p or a longer duration. ZenCreator's help center lists Seedance 2.0 Uncensored text-to-video at 7 credits for a 5-second 480p clip up to 46 credits for 15 seconds at 720p, and notes that video-to-video jobs on Seedance 2.0 are priced dynamically from the resolution and duration of both the output and the input video (ZenCreator Help: Pricing & Credits). The exact figure appears under the Generate button before you spend anything.

Step 5: Extend with start and end frames

For scenes longer than 15 seconds, take the last frame of an approved clip, use it as the start frame of the next one, and join the results. ZenCreator's Video Merge and Video Upscaler tools let you finish the sequence in the same account.

What it costs

ZenCreator sells credit packs rather than subscriptions: $19.99 for 200 credits, $49.99 for 550, $99 for 1,200 and $499 for 6,300. Credits never expire and work across every tool, so a pack bought for Seedance can also cover images, upscaling or other video models.

Open-weight video models for your own GPU

If running locally matters more to you than Seedance specifically, these open models are real, downloadable alternatives. Figures come from each project's official repository; get weights only from official pages.

Sources: the Wan 2.1 repository states that its T2V-1.3B model needs only 8.19 GB of VRAM and is Apache-2.0 licensed (Wan2.1 on GitHub). The HunyuanVideo 1.5 repository describes an 8.3B-parameter model with a minimum of 14 GB of GPU memory when offloading is enabled, and says the step-distilled model lets a single RTX 4090 generate a video within 75 seconds (HunyuanVideo 1.5 on GitHub). The Wan 2.2 repository covers the 5B model's 720P/24fps support and the 80 GB requirement for its larger example (Wan2.2 on GitHub).

How to choose between local and hosted

  • You own a 24 GB card and enjoy tinkering: Wan 2.2 5B is the best-supported local choice, with a permissive licence.
  • You have around 14 GB of VRAM: HunyuanVideo 1.5 with offloading, after checking its licence terms.
  • You want Seedance 2.0's native audio and multi-reference control: there is no local route; use it hosted.
  • You want open-model results without a GPU: ZenCreator also hosts Wan models, for example Wan 2.6 with audio at 10 credits for a five-second 720p clip.
  • You need LoRAs: use the Wan family. Seedance does not take LoRAs, and LoRAs do not transfer between model families.

Removing a keyword blocklist changes what a model will attempt, not what the law allows.

  • Real people. The US TAKE IT DOWN Act (Public Law 119-12, signed May 19, 2025) defines "digital forgeries" as intimate depictions of identifiable individuals created with AI or similar technology, and requires covered platforms to remove them within 48 hours of a valid request (Public Law 119-12, GovInfo).
  • Age assurance. In the UK, Ofcom requires publishers of pornographic content to use highly effective age assurance before anyone can view it, and does not accept self-declaration of age (Ofcom).
  • Industry policy. Mainstream providers draw the same line. xAI's acceptable use policy, for instance, bars altering a real person's likeness to depict them in an intimate or sexual context and any sexualization of children (xAI Acceptable Use Policy).

Use invented adult characters, keep your prompts and source images, and check the rules of any platform where you publish.

FAQ

Can I run Seedance 2.0 on my own computer?

No. ByteDance has not published weights or a local licence. You can reach it through ByteDance's apps, its API, or a third-party platform that connects to that API.

What does "uncensored" mean for Seedance 2.0?

On ZenCreator, it means prompts reach the model without a keyword blocklist for creative work. Legal limits still apply: users must be adults, and content must not depict minors or real people without consent.

Is Seedance 2.0 on Hugging Face or GitHub?

Not officially. ByteDance publishes other models, but the Seedance 2.0 launch points only to apps and an API.

How long can a Seedance 2.0 clip be on ZenCreator?

Between 5 and 15 seconds per generation at 480p or 720p. Chain clips with start and end frames for longer scenes.

Does Seedance 2.0 generate sound?

Yes. Native audio, including ambience and lip-synced speech, is generated alongside the picture in the same pass.

What is the closest open model I can run locally?

Wan 2.2 is the most practical, with an Apache-2.0 licence and official consumer-GPU support for its 5B model. HunyuanVideo 1.5 has a lower memory floor with offloading.
